Dr. Sarah Meyer
Sarah Meyer received her doctoral degree in January 2012 from the University of Vienna, where she is working as a researcher at the Department of Political Science since May 2010. Previously she was project researcher at the Department of Sociology, University of Innsbruck, and received a scholarship in the three-year post-graduate program European Integration at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS). Sarah Meyer is part of the research group INEX – Politics of Inclusion and Exclusion. She is also involved in the FP7 project SOM (Support and Opposition to Migration), as part of which she recently spent four months at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. Her research interests include political parties & Europeanization, the politicization of migration & European integration, and political participation & public spheres.
