political ecology, (neo-)extractivism, agrarian extractivism and socio-ecological conflicts with a regional focus on Latin America

Short biography

• Since May 2024: Senior Scientist at the Department of Political Science at the University of Vienna (substitute)
• April 2024: PhD, dissertation on agricultural extractivism and socio-ecological conflicts using the example of Ecuador
• October 2020 until December 2023: DOC-team scholarship of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW)
• 2021, 2022 and 2023: Visiting doctoral student and research stays at the Universidad Simón Bolívar (UASB), Quito, Ecuador
•2022: Visiting doctoral candidate and research stay at the Universidad Nur and Universidad Autónoma “Gabriel René Moreno”, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia
