Short CV
Marion Löffler is a lecturer in the fields of political theory and gender studies. She currently (winter semester 2023/24) holds the Aigner-Rollett Visiting Professorship for Gender Studies at the University of Graz. She studied Political Science and History at the University of Vienna (PhD 2010), Venia in Political Science 2019. Previous positions: 2022-2023 Substitute Professor for Politics and Gender at the University of Vienna, 2018/19 Assistant Professor at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, 2012-2017 Project Associate and 2006-2010 University Assistant at the Department of Political Science.
Research interests
Critical theories of state and democracy, gender theories and political science gender research, political masculinities, fictional literature as political theory, political rhetoric and discourse analysis, democracy and parliamentary research
