International Symposium: Solidarity in Health & Healthcare

In recent years, in the wake of a series of health and environmental crises and following advances in the development of medical technology, questions regarding solidarity have become relevant to a growing number of areas in the fields of medicine, bioethics and public health. This symposium discusses the different aspects of solidarity as a social determinant of health. By discussing original papers on biobanks, priority setting, organ donations, care, Covid-19, human milk banks and more, the attendees of this workshop will learn about the key role solidarity plays in healthcare today.

We cordially invite everyone to join us for the international on-site event on solidarity in health and healthcare.

The event includes the opening keynote lecture by Sally Scholz on 19 May 2025 at 17:00, followed by a two-day symposium on 20 and 21 May 2025. For details on both, please click on the info boxes below.
